Let’s take a look at Dismaland – Banksy’s very own art theme park

So in case you haven’t heard, good old Banksy decided to open up his very own theme park in which visitors are taken on a journey through some kind of anti-disneyland.


The saddest place on Earth

When arriving in the teeny tiny town of Weston-super-Mare in south-west England you’ll be greeting by a gloomy dead-eyed looking girl welcoming you to ‘the saddest place on Earth’.

Just like we’d expect from Banksy this place is nothing less than a satirical yet creative take on the beautiful dreamworld that amusement parks like Disneyland portray.

Dismaland is Banksy’s largest exhibition to date and shows you something you would expect from the world famous artist who is known to explore topics such as war, refugees and political corruption through his artwork.
